Project Halo was part of the Overwolf Hackathon for games made by Riot Games..
Project Halo is a TFT companion overlay which has following features:
- Show what champions each player has in real time
- Show who fought and who won the combat
To achieve this we are reading the memory of the current TFT match to determine which players have which champions in combat and also against whom they are playing. For displaying the players summoner icon we are using the Riot Games API to gather the data needed for it. The players are placed corresponding to their position in-game. For better visibility and recognizability we opted for showing the normal champion Icons instead of the champion with the respective current skin.
